Topic?

The week was hard for me since I had a lot of tests and quizzes. But I'm glad the week went by! The week was all about the research assessment, and thinking about what I want my topic to be about. I think I want my topic to be about terrorism and cybersecurity. I read an article about terrorism and 9/11, and how money played a role in it.

Knowing what I wanted to do, the articles were really interesting to me, and I read them multiple times. But my question is what do I want my product to look like? I think that is something we will start doing now.

I am looking forward to the business symposium, and hoping I find someone, if not forensic accounting, then at least accounting. I have a lot of questions in mind already to ask, even about regular accounting. I recently watched a YouTube video about forensic accountants, and what their day-to-day life looks like. The speaker said that a forensic accountant doesn’t have a set day-to-day life. One day they might be investigating financial fraud, and the next day they might be in the courtroom, testifying as an expert witness.

I am excited to see what the upcoming weeks will look like, and connect with professionals.
