The Scary Part

Title: The Scary Part 

This week was really exciting as I had my first in-person interview with Mr. Finley who was a Forensic Accountant at Janik Forensic Company.  He gave me a very detailed answer about forensic accounting. One thing I liked was that he explained to me different types of cases with scenarios that I can relate to. At first, I was nervous about the interview, but as we got deeper into the conversation I was more comfortable. I think I am pretty comfortable with cold calls now since I’ve made a lot over these past few weeks. I am trying to get more interviews since I need a lot of information for my three research assessments. 

This week, we talked about research speeches and fixed time slots. The speech is supposed to be 8 - 10 minutes. The longest speech I have given before was 7 minutes, but that was with notecards. This research speech is supposed to be memorized, so I am extremely nervous but I think I’ll be able to do it. 

Other than ISM, this week was pretty good, I didn't have much work except for one test, which I think went well. I am excited to do more interviews and am hoping to get more interviews in and start on my original work as soon as possible.
