More and More Interview

I had an interview today with Professor Goodrich, and she told me about a great program called “Avam Astu”. It was a program where college students mentor high school students. She was an internal auditor, and she told me her role in that. And also told me about a few certificates I should do to be a successful CPA or Forensic Accountant. 

A few days ago, I emailed Dr. Files, a professor at the University of Texas at Dallas, and she agreed to interview me on Friday, November 10th, at her office. She has done a research paper on Financial Fraud, and Accounting Ethics, which is exactly what I want to do with my Original Work. 

I made more cold calls for interviews, but no one got back to me. Everyone just gave me an email, and I emailed them, but no one replied. I will try to make more calls and hopefully get two more interviews in. 

My goal is to inform everyone whom I cold call about mentorship, so that way I can start looking for mentors. Hopefully, I can find a Forensic Accountant, but if not, I am hoping to mentor with an Internal Auditor. I am excited to see where this ISM journey takes me.
