Busy Week

Last week, I was busy with Diwali, as I had family over, and so I wasn’t able to do much school work overall. But on Friday, November 10th, I had an interview with Dr. Files, a professor at the University of Texas at Dallas. She has done a research paper on Accounting Ethics and Financial Fraud, and so I asked her questions about her research paper. She also gave me a study case, which I could access online for free, for my research paper. She even said if I needed help with doing my research paper, she would give me some advice. I also had my research speech on the same day. I think I did a good job with opening my speech, but then I started speaking faster. When I practiced at home, my speech was around 15 minutes, but when presenting, it got cut down to 8 minutes. My hands and legs were also shaking, but I think that was because of fatigue. 

I think Mr. Finley, the first one I interviewed, would be a great mentor because he has done Forensic Accounting for a long time. Also, when I asked him questions, he answered them in a way that I would be able to easily understand. For each question, he explained it with scenarios.
